How We Got Here:

On August 25th, 2019, over 450 friends and neighbors from Lake Oswego Chinese American community gathered in Cook Park to cherish each other, celebrate summer and welcome new school year.

On October 8th, 2019, the Lake Oswego Chinese Council was established as domestic nonprofit corporation to help educate the Lake Oswegonian public about the Chinese culture and Chinese American history in Lake Oswego.

The mission of the Lake Oswego Chinese Council ("LOCC") is to serve as a bridge between the people of Lake Oswego/Oregon and the Lake Oswego Chinese Community in promoting greater understanding of the cultural awareness and being a community resource for all.

The Lake Oswego Chinese Council is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit approved by IRS, tax ID: 84-3414231.
